Class 1: Class 1 made a pyramid with Mr Oakey in Outdoor Learning out of bamboo. They worked in groups of 4 to make smaller pyramids, which they then joined together to make one large one.
Class 2: The children have enjoyed starting their new book The Egyptian Cinderella as well as making Egyptian Collars and learning a song about the Ancient Egyptians.
Class 3 & 4: Year 4 went on a trip to the National Roman Legion Museum. They had a brilliant day exploring the museum and learning what life was like as a Roman soldier.
Class 5 & 6: The Children thoroughly enjoyed the maths puzzles they were presented with, challenging their spatial l awareness.
Class 7 & 8: The highlight for year 6 had to be their trip to GWR. They really enjoyed dressing up as evacuees and immersing themselves in the whole experience.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
