Dear Y4 Parents,
Following a lovely Summer Holiday, we are delighted to be back in school having had the opportunity to start meeting up with friends and family. We've had a fantastic first day and it will be a pleasure to get to know your children over the coming weeks.
We do continue to recognise that children have had a wide range of experiences over the last few months and will be supporting the emotional well being and carefully monitoring pupil engagement. It is however, a delight that we are starting to return to some form of normality.
First Week Back
During the first complete week back (Week Beginning Monday 6th Sept), we will be organising the reading books and reading record books which the children will take home every day. Spellings and tables will start on Monday 13th of September with a test on the Friday. Spellings will be returned to the children on the Friday so you can see how well they did.
On a class PE day, the children will come to school wearing their PE kit with a house coloured T-shirt.
