Hours: 15 Hours per week, term time only (Monday to Friday 9am – 12pm). Plus 1 week inset per year

We currently have a vacancy for a School Administrative Assistant to work as part of the team to ensure effective and consistent administration systems for the smooth and efficient running of the school, to meet the needs of pupils, parents and staff.
This is a fixed-term post until 31st March 2026 but we envisage it being a permanent requirement.
The role includes :
• Providing a friendly and professional first point of contact to all enquiries for the school office whether face to face or by telephone
• Providing administrative support using Microsoft, Parentpay, Teachers2Parents and GCC systems and as directed by the Administrator, School Business Manager and Head Teacher
• Assisting with pupil welfare and first aid duties
• Remaining calm when faced with unpredictable challenging situations

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety and welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment and all appointments will be subject to appropriate vetting, including an enhanced DBS disclosure check. Some roles may need to comply with the ‘Childcare Act 2006’ and the ‘Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2018’ where additional disclosure of information will be required.
