Rocksteady Concert
Children and parents were treated to a fabulous Rocksteady concert this week. We were given an insight into what the children have been learning in their Rocksteady music lessons this term. As well as learning a musical instrument including vocals, Rocksteady in-school band lessons help the children gain confidence, as well as teaching musicianship.
We currently have 4 bands ‘Booster Roosters’, who performed High Hopes, ‘The Boulder’ who gave us their rendition of Break My Heart, ‘Rock Hard’ who performed Space Man and our final band ‘Rose of Fire’, who played Seven Nation Army.
The children performed brilliantly and we are so proud of what the children have achieved so far this term. It was also lovely to see how well the whole school supported them whilst they were performing. Thank you to all the children who took part and to Rocksteady for another fantastic concert.
Rocksteady will be back in the Summer term!
