The children sang their hearts out in our Church Easter Service on Tuesday as we retold the Easter story through song and drama, including some fantastic musical interludes from the Orchestra and Recorder groups.
It was an extremely special moment in the week where we reflected how life is full of the unexpected (as shown through the events of the Easter story) and how in it all, we can be used for a unique purpose - to bring love and light to others.
Experience Easter was also a highlight this week, where children explored aspects of the Easter story through six different interactive and engaging activities organised by members of St Mark’s Church. The depth of thinking that the children showed was incredible and was commented upon several times by those leading the activities. Well done to our FACE Committee who also led an activity for their fellow peers.
