On Saturday 9th December we had over 50 members from our school choir performing with Cheltenham Silver Band. We had the pleasure of our MP Alex Chalk and Councillor Matt Babbage who met the children before the performance and were entertained throughout.
Along side some individual choir pieces, we were also accompanied by Cheltenham Silver Band singing 'Winter Wonderland' and 'I Wish it Could Be Christmas'. The children sang beautifully with such enthusiasm and energy throughout. We had many compliments about how well behaved and engaged the children.
We were also treated to a wonderful performance from Mrs Anderson who sang 'White Christmas' as a solo and was accompanied by our school choir.
Our thanks go to the parents from the choir children who were able to support the event and engage so readily in the singing and dance moves to Schneewalxer.
Any money raised from the event after costs will be shared equally between Cheltenham Silver Band and the PTA. Our thanks go to the PTA team who served refreshments, Mrs Bennett for all her hard work pulling this event together, Mrs Anderson for her beautiful performance and most importantly, the children for their beautiful singing.
