The bells were pealing, lights were twinkling and there wasn't a dry eye in the (completely packed) house as our wonderful children retold the Christmas Story (twice!) at our Christmas Services on Tuesday evening at St Mark’s Church.
Music was beautifully led by the Recorders, Orchestra, Ukuleles and Choir; our fantastic readers narrated the story (complete with audience participation) and each House Team sang with real enthusiasm and enjoyment in their specially prepared songs.
To see every single child (and siblings too!) up at the front for our last song, singing their hearts out was an absolute joy and a moment I will treasure for a long time.
Huge thanks to St Mark’s Church for hosting us so brilliantly once again – the church looked stunning, creating a tangible ‘awe and wonder’ moment as we all entered to see the church decorated so wonderfully.
Our evening was complete with yummy treats at the end of each service for everyone to enjoy. Thank you, St Mark’s Church!
It really was a night to remember and well and truly picked us up and landed us firmly in all things Christmas! A definite highlight of the year.
