The School Council Eco Team, along with volunteers from GE Aerospace, have worked together to create a wonderful sensory garden at St Mark’s.
With a variety of scented and tactile plants, the garden provides a lovely space for children to explore their senses and appreciate the diversity of plant life.
GE Aerospace generously donated paint, raised beds and arches, and, most importantly, their time and enthusiasm to help transform the garden. Led by Mrs Reilly and the School Council, the team worked hard painting and planting, and the results are fantastic!
A huge thank you to everyone involved for your generosity, hard work and support. We truly appreciate it!
The School Council and Gardening Club have also been busy creating a mini allotment for everyone to enjoy!
The children have worked hard making a raised bed, planting seeds and getting stuck into digging and planting. We look forward to watching their plants grow and seeing the mini allotment flourish over the coming months.
