Our School Meadow

Our School Eco Committee explored ways to increase biodiversity across our school grounds. The children decided that creating a wildflower meadow and planting trees would provide valuable habitats for local wildlife and help our natural environment to thrive.

Thanks to the Woodland Trust, we have planted 30 trees and sown Yellow Rattle seeds alongside a variety of wildflower seeds. Over the coming years, we look forward to watching this area develop into a beautiful meadow, rich in wildlife and biodiversity.

We are incredibly grateful to the parents and pupils from our Eco Committee who helped with this project during and after the school day. A special thank you goes to Alex Clark for her invaluable support and guidance in helping us bring this project to life.
