Year 3
Welcome to Year 3 and to St Mark's.
We hope your child will be very happy with us as they settle into life here, becoming all they are created to be. This term, there will be a specific focus on building on their prior learning from Benhall allowing a more gradual and gentle transition. Therefore, our afternoons will look slightly different from the rest of the school as we will be providing a range of practical, immersive and creative learning experiences. The mornings will be focused around maths and English fundamental skills.
Reading Fluency, Spellings and TTRS will begin W/C 15th September to allow for assessments. In the meantime, your child will be given a library book to read. Levelled reading books will not be handed out until W/C 15th September.
