Spotlight on....The Finance & General Purposes Committee
One of the key roles of the Committee is to be responsible for approving the Budget. They also monitor the policies and procedures for sound budgetary control. The Committee also oversees the Pupil Premium expenditure to ensure effective use of the funds. Additional responsibilities include reviewing Health and Safety issues associated with the building and site. We are currently looking at generating income from other sources.
Spotlight on… Standards and Communications
Standards and Communications is one of the committees of the School’s Governing Body. It is responsible for monitoring the performance of the school over the long-term and for ensuring that our school policies are kept up to date. Recently, we reviewed the school’s Internet Safety policy, which can be found on the school website. It is particularly important in this day and age that pupils understand how to use the computers at school and home safely. If you have any questions about long-term trends in the school or any of our policies, please do get in touch!
If you would like to see the minutes from any of our Governing Body meetings, they can be requested from Mrs Manners on 01242 702280 or email@example.com
