Class 4 children have been trying their hands at chinese silk painting and have produced some fabulous results. Anya: "Before we did it we had to do two designs. I drew a tree with a dragon."
Eva: "We had to trace our design onto the silk using tracing paper."
Eleanor: " I found it interesting when we put the silk paint on the silk and it spread out."
Dion: "You had to paint the gutta-percha (black substance used to draw outlines) on the picture to stop the colours running into eachother. I found that really tricky."
Arthur: "I found painting mine tricky because some bits were quite small."
Lucas:" It was almost like a science lesson looking at how the paint worked on the silk."
They all look amazing!
