Class 2 have produced some impressive pieces of work today with the help of Mr Sim. The children were allowed to decide whether to build a model well or a crane. Some children also helped Mr Sim make a larger crane, outside in the playground, using willow, string and glue. The projects were aimed at looking at the way pullies work. Kiera said: "I like making things - I found making the crane easy. It was good seeing how it worked."
Owen: "It was fun making my crane"
Eva:"To make the well, we used a cotton reel, wood, a cup, glue and string - I liked doing the design at the end."
Sam: "Five of us helped Mr Sim build the big crane, including me and Charles. "Mr Sim thought of the basic idea but we added our own ideas to make it work better."
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
