Year 6 had their last residential last term in sunny Hardelot-Plage France.
Pupils were treated to an array of fantastic activities including; Beach olympics, a visit to the creperie, a night hike, visit to a sweet factory, where our pupils experienced hands on traditional sweet making.
Year 6 were treated to a fantastic day out at Europes largest aquarium the Nausicaa sealife centre where they saw sharks, penguines, sea lions and experienced the underwater viewing tanks. The touching pools were a big hit with our students who were able to get up close and handle the centre's residents.
The final outing on this amazing trip was a visit to Estaples military cemetery La Coupole WWll bunker. "La Coupole" itself refers to the huge concrete dome which houses the museum and which was originally constructed by the Nazis as a bunker and a planned launching site for V2 rockets.
