Last week year 3 had a go at making and tasting bread and butter using methods from the Stone Age period.
When making the bread our pupils only had the ingredients of flour and water! As for the butter they used double cream and poured it into a jar filled with two marbles, which they then shook and shook and shook until the consistency resembled that of cream! This process took a very long time which resulted in a lot of moans and groans from the pupils and staff alike! There were a few sore arms the next day!
Children then ate their creations, which they loved.
”This is the best bread I have ever tasted!l Jack
“I really loved it and kept coming back for more!” Emilie
