Last Friday, eight children from Year 5 and 6 went to Chosen Hill School to take part in a netball tournament. They won every game in their pool which meant they progressed to the semi-finals. They also won their semi-final, putting them through to the final. After leading the game all the way through the first half of the final, the other school drew level and then scored another goal in the dying seconds of the game. They came away with a silver medal and second place out of 12 schools. This is an amazing accomplishment considering some of the players had never played netball eight weeks ago! The whole team was commended for their outstanding performance and Reece and Cerys awarded Sporting Value recognition for Passion, Determination and Honesty.
