Yesterday saw the whole school take part in Sports Relief and raise money for those in need.
The children all paid £1.20 and in return the children came to school in their sports clothes and they each received a cake and a Sports Relief sports band. They also received a sticker when they completed the marathon challenge.
The day started with wake and shake boogie in the playground with the staff and children across the school.
Activities included keeping a Sports Relief balloon up in the air the longest and class maypole dancing to music with Miss Tedstone.
Lunch time activities included keepy-uppy tennis, hoopla hoops and skipping and for the afternoon activities each class took it in turns to complete the main Sports Challenge of walking the half marathon around the school fielrd.
A fantastic day was had by all so well done to all the staff for organising such a wonderful day. Watch this space for the total raised.
