Every single child competed with such commitment, courage and determination, demonstrating true sportsmanship throughout. Our core values of Aspire, Engage and Compassion were at the very heart of what we all saw today. I am immensely proud of the way each and every child fully embraced this occasion.
It was lovely to be able to enjoy the morning with so many parents. Thank you for your cheers of support and encouragement during each race—it meant such a lot to the children.
Well done to you all for coping admirably with the warm weather! Ice-lollies were extremely welcome here — many thanks to the PTA for providing these for the children. The final results for Sports Day are as follows:
Winning Team: Blue with 118 points
2nd—Yellow with 87 points
3rd—Green and Red with 81 points (this is a first, apparently!)
Huge Congratulations, Blue Team!
Everybody’s hard earned points will be added to the running total of House Team competitions as we all work towards a special end of term treat for the winning House!
