The whole school took part in our annual speaking out competition which saw each class perform a poem to the rest of the school with parents and family members all eagerly watching on.Each class also put forward 3 individual speakers.
Class 3 were the overall winners for the lower school with their whole class reading of Gran can you rap by Jack Ousby.
Class 7 were the overall class winners for the upper school with their fantastic reading of The dentist and the crocodile by Roald Dahl.
Eva won the individual reading for the lower school with her fabulous rendition of The Worm Who Wouldn't Wiggle by Steve Attwell.
Evie from class 8 won for the upper school with her beautiful reading of Running late by Ken Nesbitt.
This was a super afternoon. Thankyou to all our wonderful speakers.
