Rocksteady Concert
On Tuesday the whole school and Parents of Rocksteady students were given an insight into what the children have been learning in their Rocksteady lessons this term.
We were treated to fantastic performances from our 4 bands ‘Booster Roosters’, who performed Eye of the Tiger, ‘The Boulder’ who rocked We will Rock You, ‘Rock Hard’ with their rendition of Roar and our final band ‘Rose of Fire’, who performed Radioactive. The children were absolutely brilliant! As a band the children understood the importance of working together as part of a group. It was lovely to see their confidence blossom and witness how they supported one another, particularly when a singer from one band gave a helping hand to another.
It was really interesting to hear Alex their band leader describe the different techniques and stages that the children were at in their musical journey.
