The last week of term saw year 5 very busy with an array of exciting activites and trips, one of which was to a Mosque Masjid-E-Noor over in Gloucester. We were welcomed by the Mosques Iman then both pupils and staff were treated to an extremly interesting and factual presentation where the children learnt all about the Muslim way of life, the history of the Mosque and some of the teachings of the Quran. Pupils were also given an insight to how the women pray and how this differs from men and they even had the opportunity to take part. This was a fantastic trip enriching the childrens prior knowledge and casting out any negative views from what they see and hear through the media.
"I love this trip!" Lucas
"The call to prayer is so beautiful" Charlie
