We were treated to wonderful evening of instrumental music and song last night; our Midsummer Concert has always been a real highlight of the St Mark’s calendar and has been sorely missed over the past 2 years.
What a delight it was to see the children shine on stage, performing with such confidence, poise and enjoyment!
Music is an extremely important part of our extra curricular provision—we see it as a really powerful way of enabling children to grow in confidence, in ways that possibly other areas of the curriculum may not provide in the same way.
Instrumental lessons can take place individually or as part of a group. We also have music clubs at lunchtimes or after school. Opportunities include: Ukulele, guitar (acoustic / electric), drums, piano, flute, violin, choir, orchestra. Please do contact the school if would like to find out more.
