Yesterday we had a wonderful street party with the children from Benhall in honour of the King’s Coronation. We were so pleased that the weather held out for us and meant that in true street party style we were able to pitch long tables along the length of playground. Our time together ended with both schools singing the National Anthem.
The children also came to school wearing red, white a blue for the celebrations. You’ll see from the photos that the children had a truly memorable lunchtime!
Ice pops were delivered to classrooms for an afternoon treat, which went down very well!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
