Since early May this year, every Friday afternoon, all of the teachers and TA's have been running various clubs for the children as part of an enrichment programme. All of the clubs taking place were suggested by the children via the School Council. The clubs on offer include: Cookery; Computing; Film-making; Arts and Crafts and Tennis to name but a few. Josh (class 9) chose to do Cookery, he said: "I like cooking, I liked making banana muffins and apple crumble."
Charlotte (class 7) : "I chose Cookery because I want to learn how to cook."
Freya (class 8): "I chose Art because I like art and we can do things we wouldn't normally do in class."
Harriette (class 8):"I like Arts and Crafts - it feels free and relaxed."
Jimin (class 7) : " I'm doing Computing - I'm using 'Sketchup' to design a Greek temple."
Cyrus (class 4): "I'm doing 'blogging' in Computing - I like sharing ideas with other people."
Darragh (class 4): "I'm using 'Scratch' to design my own games in Computing."
What a fun way to end the school week!
