Wow! What a truly outstanding end to our Cross-Country race season. Every one of our boys put in a sterling effort against what has now become a well known competitive field with challenging terrain.
Theo finished 1st and Alex finished a very close 2nd. Following the final race, we attended the award ceremony and were awarded with the following trophies. Theo was awarded with a 1st place and Alex awarded 3rd place for fastest boys across Year 6 from all competing schools.
We also won the Boys Cross Country Championship trophy due to us having the fastest boys overall.
Theo and Alex were then invited to attend the County Championships which took place on the Sunday, alongside Jack and George who took part in the Year 3 - 5 boys race.
Results from County Championships:
Alex 3rd, Theo 9th, George 31st and Jack 32nd.
From here Alex and Theo will compete in the National Championships in Loughborough on 25th March. Wishing you all the very best, boys!
Huge well done from all of the staff and pupils from St Mark's. We are beyond proud.
