On Wednesday the Year 4 children had a fantastic day out travelling to Caerleon in South Wales. Not only did the children have the opportunity to visit the remains of a barracks and amphitheatre, they also had time to take a stroll down to view the Roman baths.
Children carried out several formations with swords and shields during a workshop with a Roman Centurian as well as learning about numerous artefacts.
As always, attitudes and behaviours were fantastic and it was a delight to be able to take the children away for the day.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
