These have been emailed out to all of our families today. A summary is below:
Cake Competition—THIS WEEK!
What to do: Decorate the best festive firework/night theme cakes or biscuit. You can bake them yourself or decorate shop bought ones.
When? Bring them in on Friday 5th November in a named container with your child’s Year Group and House marked on it. The cake sale will take place at break time on Friday.
Is there a prize? The House with the best decorated cake/s overall wins House points AND there will be a prize for the over all individual winner!
What about allergies? No nuts please! If you would like to bake gluten free / dairy free cakes, please indicate this on your box.
What if I don’t have time this week? If you would just like to donate cakes, shop bought donations will be gratefully received. Your child can still buy cakes, even if they are not able to donate any.
Remember to bring money! 50p per cake.
Marking Remembrance Day
Many thanks to all those who have already brought beautiful poppy models and pictures in. If you haven't already, there is still time to make yours! It could be made out of anything. It could be painted, drawn, knitted, sculpted, painted on rocks, tissue paper, old bottles, anything.
Bring these by Monday 8th November and pop them on the house tables in the hall. We are then going to create a Remembrance display for Thursday 11th November.
Poppies are now on sale in school; a suggested donation of 50p or whatever you are able to give.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
