What is the curriculum like at St Mark's C of E Junior School?
"Where we enjoy learning; bcoming all that God created us to be."
We strive to create a curriculum that it suited to individual need, interest and ability so as to fulfil every child's potential and dreams. Every pupil will have access to a broad, balanced, differentiated and, above all, inspiring curriculum.
We deliver a curriculum that leads to high standards of attainment and progress across the school whilst also increasing children’s experiences, motivating them about learning and stimulating curiosity and a desire to learn more.
As a result, behaviour for learning (perseverance, resilience, being confident to take a risk without fear of failure etc.) is very good. We endeavour to enable children to become lifelong learners and to prepared for the future.
We are currently in a period of Curriculum Change following on from the revised OFSTED Framework. This is an exciting time as we are now in the position to amend and create a Curriculum that is built around the needs of our children. Please see the attached document which shows our INTENT for the next 3 years.
Please do not hesitate to come and speak to us about our curriculum content or if you can assist in any way - we welcome feedback and assistance.
