Y5/6 Art Club have been making the most of the wonderful leaves outside and creating their own leaf pictures. Last week we formed leaves to make animals such as hedgehogs and lions. This week, we've been using paint and leaves to print and to use as a stencil. We will be sad when all the lovely leaves are gone!
Year 5/6 Art Club created poppy art to commemorate Remembrance Day. The children thought about how they wanted to show their respects through their art work. They used paper and fairy cake cases to create their poppies and decided whether they wanted a field scene or a wreath. The finished effect is very powerful and meaningful.
In Art and Crafts club, the children took photos of their profiles and then used this as a template. Inside the profile, the children drew lots of different things that represented them and that they are interested in to make up their image. They were very excited to take them home to show their family all things that makes them 'them'!
