Session 1 & 2: The children made autumn leaf sun catchers. They made their own frames out of sugar paper and then added the little pieces of tissue paper. Delicate (and sticky) work at times but fun to make.
The children were creating a sea scene with silhouettes. We first did some colour-washing where we blended blues, greens and whites and then the children started to add the black paint for the silhouettes. Not quite finished yet but they are looking striking already!
We have been making a printing tile using card and foam. The children has created their own pattern that they can rotate. Some children started printing them today and the results are fabulous! I can't wait to see the rest!
More children have completed their radial prints and they are looking fantastic! We have has to think about the position of the tiles and how to turn them and the amount of paint we need. I can't wait to see the rest completed.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
