Autumn Term

17th-21st November is Anti-Bullying Week. During this week assemblies will be on this theme and each class will have a PSHCE lesson based on friendship and anti-bullying.

We asked our classes what activities they would like to do to celebrate The National Year of Reading. Book Week is 24th-28th November during this week we will hold a variety of the events that were suggested.

Activities for Book Week include:

  • Book Club held in the hall daily
  • Paired reading with other classes
  • Use of the library
  • Story writing
  • Art activity to create a book mark
  • Book swap
  • Cookery to make a recipe based on a character from a book
  • Children to read favourite stories, drink hot chocolate and wear pjs on Friday
